About The Position
The Pizza Maker works in a Domino’s store and may be assigned to all in-store stations. Duties include making menu items, helping customers by phone and in person, processing and expediting orders, operating store equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The role requires accurate order entry and monetary change handling, strong communication and customer-service skills, and the ability to work with others or independently in a fast-paced environment. Schedules may be part-time or full-time and are described as flexible around team members’ needs. The work is primarily performed standing and involves frequent walking, reaching, and hand use. It may also require lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays and trash cans, occasional bending or crouching, and infrequent stair or ladder use. Working conditions can include temperature extremes, hot surfaces and products, sharp edges, mechanical parts, odors, cornmeal dust, and confined spaces such as a walk-in cooler. The position offers opportunities for advancement within the company.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be willing and able to work all in-store stations.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone communication skills to take and process orders.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to operate all store equipment.
- Ability to perform the physical and mental tasks described, including lifting supplies weighing up to 50 pounds and working under stress while meeting quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Work all in-store stations, including making menu items, assisting customers by phone and in person, and expediting orders from the cut table.
- Enter, receive, and process customer orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and telephone.
- Make correct monetary change and handle order transactions accurately.
- Operate store equipment and prepare products.
- Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Unload and move product deliveries, including lifting and stacking cases and supplies.
- Perform work requiring standing, walking, reaching, hand use, and occasional bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, or climbing.
