About The Position

Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill is seeking motivated and reliable Pizza Makers to prepare fresh dough and made-from-scratch pizzas and operate pizza ovens in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen. The role involves preparing and baking pizzas, maintaining product quality and cleanliness, and working cooperatively with kitchen team members, servers, and management. Candidates may be part-time or full-time.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to lead and take direction.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand and walk for extended periods.
• Working knowledge of restaurant kitchen operations.
• Team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake made-from-scratch pizzas.
• Ensure that only quality finished products are served to guests.
• Load pizzas into and unload them from the oven as needed.
• Follow guidelines for cutting, traying or boxing, and garnishing each pizza size and style.
• Use proper portioning utensils and follow recipe guidelines.
• Work cooperatively with kitchen team members, servers, and management.
• Maintain an overall clean environment.
• Multitask and complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Assist with dough making, rolling, and preparation as needed.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures and restaurant protocols.
• Safely handle, use, and store sanitation and cleaning chemicals.
