About The Position
As a member of Wegmans’ Pizza Department, the Pizza Maker works with a team to provide customer service and prepare pizzas, calzones, chicken wings, and other products. Pizzas are handcrafted with quality ingredients in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. The role offers opportunities to use creativity, develop product knowledge, and contribute to a smoothly running department.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Availability for mornings and/or evenings, including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Take and prepare customer orders accurately and on time.
- Proactively assist customers and answer questions while balancing a variety of tasks.
- Grow and showcase product knowledge and stay up to date on new and featured items.
- Support, encourage, and respect coworkers while communicating effectively to ensure the department runs smoothly.
