About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and potential advancement from delivery driver to management and other roles. Drivers may also perform general store team-member duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and distribute flyers and door hangers. They must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record meeting company standards, access to an insured vehicle for delivery, and the ability to navigate the delivery area and challenging terrain, including multi-story buildings. Team members may make several deliveries per shift.

The work involves varied indoor and outdoor conditions, including adverse weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. The role requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and hand use, as well as occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, and squatting. Delivery work also involves carrying pizzas and beverages, walking between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, and potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
• Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Be able to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, including by telephone and in person.
• Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Have the motor coordination and computer keyboard or touch-screen skills needed to enter orders accurately.
• Be able to perform the physical duties described, including carrying products during delivery and potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Carry pizzas and beverages during deliveries and travel between the store, delivery vehicle, and customers’ locations.
• Provide customer service and communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders.
