About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also includes in-store work, such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning. Domino’s provides training for delivery and in-store tasks. The position involves working with customers and coworkers, following quality standards, and working independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Ability to use navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers, both over the phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to lift and carry deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, with dimensions up to 3 feet by 1.5 feet.
• Ability to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, reach continuously, and perform occasional climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Talking and hearing on the telephone and near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders.
• Unload and stock bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
• Perform outside tasks, including removing trash.
