East Side Delivery Driver
About The Position
Ian's Pizza is hiring a delivery driver for its East Side location in Milwaukee. The role combines food preparation and packing, pizza finishing and cutting, salad preparation, and deliveries throughout the delivery zone. When not making deliveries, drivers take phone and online orders, stock supplies, clean and wash dishes, and help complete shift checklists. This is a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant role with ongoing training and opportunities for promotion. No experience is required, although prior delivery or customer service experience is a plus. Part-time and full-time hours are available. The restaurant is open Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. and Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to midnight. Typical shifts include lunch (10:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.), dinner (5 p.m.–1:30 a.m.), and late night (5 p.m.–4 a.m.). Candidates should ideally be available for closing shifts; a late-night shift (10 p.m.–4 a.m.) is required once per week. Pay is advertised at $22–$30 per hour, consisting of base wage, per-run reimbursement, tips, and late-night and Sunday bonus pay. Additional opportunities include offsite events, eligibility for a twice-annual bonus pool, and a $250 referral bonus when a referred candidate joins the team. Health and dental insurance and paid time off are offered to full-time employees, along with retirement benefits with up to a 3% match. Other perks include flexible schedules and free pizza.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle; driver eligibility and Motor Vehicle Record are checked during the interview process.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; IDs are required at orientation.
- Able to stand and walk and remain on one's feet for long periods.
- Able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds, including up and down stairs.
- Able to work with common allergens, including gluten, dairy, and eggs.
- Comfortable using ovens, knives, and other kitchen equipment.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and in a loud, fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Available to work a late-night shift from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. once per week.
Nice To Haves
- Previous delivery or customer service experience is a plus.
- Availability for closing shifts (5 p.m.–1:30 a.m. or 5 p.m.–4 a.m.) is ideal.
