About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to serve customers in a designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and may suit someone seeking a primary or supplemental job. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Opportunities for advancement may include management and franchise ownership.

In addition to delivery duties, team members may operate store equipment, stock ingredients, prepare products, take and process telephone orders, complete inventory and related paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility. Drivers deliver products by car and carry them to customers’ doors, and may also deliver flyers and door hangers.

The position involves working in a store and outdoors in varying weather, using mobile and store equipment, and navigating delivery locations that may include multi-story buildings and stairs. Physical activities include standing, walking, carrying, lifting, reaching, bending, and driving. Store conditions may include temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to use a mobile device and navigate using maps and address information.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers by telephone and in person.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Must be able to perform the stated physical activities, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, bending, and driving.
• Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to delivery addresses, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
• Operate store equipment and use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Carry products and beverages during deliveries, including while walking and climbing stairs.
