About The Position

Impact RTO, the largest Rent-A-Center franchise in the country, is hiring an entry-level Delivery Driver for customer accounts. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role involves driving a company truck to customers’ homes to deliver and pick up furniture and appliances, setting up items, and occasionally collecting payments. Drivers also assist with store tasks between deliveries, including assembling items and helping with customer-facing tasks. The position offers a path into management for employees who stay with the company.

The schedule is five days per week, with Sundays always off. Pay is $17.00 per hour, with higher pay for bilingual candidates and monthly bonuses based on store performance. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with a clean record and at least one year of driving experience, and the ability to lift more than 50 pounds. Candidates must pass a background check and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company truck to deliver and pick up furniture and appliances.
• Load and unload items, following safety training.
• Set up furniture and appliances in customers’ homes.
• Treat customers with respect and communicate clearly.
• Occasionally participate in creating social media and marketing content, including photos and videos, as requested to support company initiatives.
• Collect payments when needed.
• Keep the truck clean and organized.
• Help in the store between deliveries, including assembling items and assisting with customer-facing tasks.
