About The Position

The Delivery Associate works collaboratively with the Catering & Delivery department to support pickup, delivery, and catering operations. The role maintains and stocks the delivery station, confirms and enters orders, assists with packing food and beverage items, coordinates deliveries with drivers, and provides courteous, hospitable service to guests and coworkers. The associate follows food safety and Department of Health standards, uses required Department of Transportation safety equipment when riding on deliveries, and participates in training, meetings, and team operations. The position is in a fast-paced hospitality environment that may include an office, casino, nightclub, bar, lounge, or restaurant. Team members may encounter varying noise and crowd levels, smoke, and cleaning materials. The role requires standing for extended periods, moving quickly, and pushing or lifting up to 75 pounds, with or without assistance. Irregular and extended hours, evening and weekend shifts, and holiday work may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a delivery driver role is preferred.
Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant, nightclub, or lounge is preferred.

Responsibilities

Confirm online orders through ordering platforms and applications.
Answer calls for pickup and delivery orders and respond to questions or make food and beverage suggestions.
Enter orders accurately into the POS system and follow cash and payment-card procedures.
Assist with packing orders to guest specifications and ensure all order items, condiments, and utensils are included.
Coordinate food deliveries with delivery drivers and communicate with delivery associates and packers so orders are sent on time and without issues.
Anticipate and accommodate guest needs while providing polite, courteous, and hospitable service.
Maintain the cleanliness of assigned stations and the venue, including the delivery station in accordance with Department of Health standards.
Wear required Department of Transportation safety equipment when riding on deliveries, including a bicycle helmet and reflective safety vest with assigned ID number, and carry the commercial bicyclist business ID card.
Stock the delivery station, track catering and delivery inventory, and assist with preparing catering trays, condiments, serving utensils, flatware, and other necessary items.
Follow supervisor instructions, support coworkers, and work as an effective team member.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of food menus and dish garnishes and comply with Department of Health standards.
Immediately report breakage or damage to equipment or furniture to management.
Attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings, training sessions, and departmental meetings.
Learn by listening, observing, and sharing knowledge, and lead by example.
Maintain a positive, professional attitude and appearance, and demonstrate knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners, and supporting hotel environments.
Maintain confidentiality and interact professionally with guests, managers, coworkers, and other customers.
