About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Deli Staff member for Crystal Mountain Slopeside. The role is part of a hospitality-focused organization committed to respectful, authentic service and supporting the needs of guests and team members. The Deli Staff member seats guests and takes accurate food orders, monitors food delivery and presentation, maintains a clean and properly set-up station, follows liquor regulations, and learns menu items and service procedures. The position also involves totaling checks, accepting payments, assisting with bussing tables, and performing other duties as assigned. Flexible hours and shifts are required. The hiring process may include a phone interview, manager interview, drug screen, background and reference checks, and a potential employment assessment. Requirements

Minimum of one year in a hotel or restaurant serving role.
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
Ability to operate available equipment such as cash registers and calculators.
Basic mathematical skills needed to make change and issue refunds.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
Team-player mindset.

Nice To Haves

Post-high-school education is preferred.

Responsibilities

Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
Monitor food distribution to ensure meals reach the correct guests and are properly prepared and presented, and ensure the buffet is appealing.
Check the station before, during, and after shifts for proper setup and cleanliness.
Follow state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations when serving alcoholic beverages, including rules regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
Become familiar with menu items, their preparation, and service procedures.
Total checks, present them to guests, and accept payment.
Assist with bussing tables.
Perform other duties as assigned.
