About The Position

Middlebury Natural Foods Co-op is expanding its deli team as it begins a rotisserie chicken program. Deli staff provide excellent customer service, maintain a clean and well-stocked department, and contribute positively to the Deli Department team. They prepare and package quality food in an open, professional kitchen and maintain deli and bakery retail displays so shelves look fresh and fully stocked. Staff follow established procedures and work independently and collaboratively to meet department goals. No experience is necessary, but candidates must be comfortable with the physical requirements of the job and handling raw poultry. This part-time position has a set weekly schedule and requires availability Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Requirements

No experience is necessary.
Must be comfortable with the physical requirements of the job and handling raw poultry.
