About The Position

The Deli Clerk supports a fresh, welcoming, and well-run store experience by helping customers, maintaining product displays, and stocking and merchandising products according to store standards. The role may work across Fresh departments, including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery, and helps keep store operations running smoothly. The position is part-time and third shift.

Responsibilities

Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.
Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
Take stock from an L-cart or pallet and use the location codes on boxes to place stock in the correct shelf locations until the assigned area is complete.
