About The Position

The Deli Attendant serves food, beverages, and desserts to guests at take-out counters in a 24/7 café venue. The role includes preparing and wrapping food for service or takeout, taking and entering guest orders using MICROS POS, handling bills and payments, and maintaining food and beverage stations and dining areas. The attendant also performs cleaning and sanitation duties and replenishes supplies.

Responsibilities

• Serve food, beverages, and desserts to guests at take-out counters in a 24/7 café venue.
• Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and transporting dishes, to keep equipment and facilities sanitary.
• Scrub and polish counters, steam tables, and other equipment; clean glasses, dishes, and fountain equipment.
• Wrap menu items such as sandwiches, hot entrees, and desserts for serving or takeout.
• Prepare bills for food using MICROS POS; accept payment or make change.
• Brew coffee and tea and fill containers with requested beverages.
• Cook food or prepare items such as sandwiches, pizzas, and salads using standard formulas or instructions.
• Replenish foods at serving stations.
• Balance receipts and payments in cash drawers.
• Take guest orders, enter them into MICROS POS, and provide ticket receipts when needed to identify filled orders.
• Add relishes and garnishes to food orders according to recipes or instructions.
• Deliver orders to kitchens and pick up and serve food when ready.
• Order items needed to replenish supplies.
• Set up dining areas for meals and clear them following meals.
