About The Position

The Deli Attendant sells, prepares, cooks, and stocks deli food items while providing exceptional guest service. The role includes operating the cash register and handling cash accurately, preparing food according to the menu and customer requests, and helping maintain a safe, clean, and orderly deli and seating area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Obtain a Washington State Food Handler's card within two weeks of employment.
• Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to the menu and customer requests, efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Sell food products and miscellaneous store merchandise.
• Operate the cash register, charge correct prices, and give correct change.
• Handle customer complaints tactfully and refer issues to a manager when necessary.
• Maintain food displays in a sanitary and appetizing manner to maximize sales.
• Keep the store neat and clean, including sweeping and mopping as needed.
• Stock products as needed.
• Bus tables and clean the dining room as needed.
• Provide exceptional guest service at all times.
