About The Position

Drive a dedicated dry van on regional routes across the Southeast and Mid South, with some loads extending into the Midwest or Mid Atlantic. Drivers are generally home weekly for a 34-hour restart, often leaving Sunday or Monday and returning Friday or Saturday. New CDL holders from the Birmingham area are welcome. The position includes 4 to 6 weeks of paid mentor training before driving solo. Both day and night shifts operate. Weekend and holiday work is expected, with Christmas off.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Class A CDL and be at least 21 years old.
• New drivers must have completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced drivers must have 6 months of experience in the last 12 months or 12 months in the last 5 years; DD214 is considered.
• Have no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years and no serious violations in the past 12 months.
• Have no major preventable accidents in the past 5 years and no DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug tests.
• Provide 3 years of verifiable work history.

Responsibilities

• Drive a dedicated dry van on regional routes in the Southeast and Mid South, with some trips into the Midwest or Mid Atlantic.
• Complete mentor training for 4 to 6 weeks before driving solo.
• Maintain availability, service, and safety standards for eligibility for bonuses.
• Work weekends and holidays as required; Christmas is off.
