About The Position

Drive dedicated store routes from the Opelika distribution center, with runs to Birmingham, Atlanta, South Georgia, and Southern Tennessee. Drivers are home every day, handle no-touch freight, and use slip-seat trucks. Day and night shifts are available, and holidays are worked. The role includes some waiting at stores and on backhauls. New CDL holders can receive paid training with an experienced trainer at $650 per week.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must live within 40 miles of Opelika.
• New drivers must have at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school; experienced drivers must have 6 months of OTR experience in the last 12 months.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
• No major preventable accidents in 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Drive dedicated routes to stores in Birmingham, Atlanta, South Georgia, and Southern Tennessee.
• Operate routes that start and end at the Opelika distribution center.
• Transport no-touch freight.
• Work holidays.
• Complete routes that may involve waiting at stores and on backhauls.
