About The Position

Drive a dedicated food products account based in Champaign, Illinois, with preloaded trailers and drop-and-hook deliveries on most stops. About 90% of loads run between Illinois, Iowa, and Ohio, with occasional trips to Georgia and back. Drivers receive a 34-hour reset at home once a week. Average weekly gross pay is about $1,400 for approximately 2,200 miles. Starting mileage pay is $0.60 per mile and increases annually with experience; drivers also receive $25 per stop. A $4,000 bonus is offered, with details available from a recruiter. New CDL holders receive paid over-the-road training with an experienced trainer at $685 per week. Orientation pay is $300, and travel is covered. Health, dental, and vision coverage begins after 30 days. The position also offers a 401(k) with company match and paid time off. The work involves cold weather and variable routes.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must live within 80 miles of Champaign, Illinois, or another hiring location.
New drivers must have at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school; experienced drivers must have 6 months of over-the-road experience in the last 12 months.
No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
No major preventable accidents in 5 years.
No DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
Must pass hair and urine drug testing.

Responsibilities
