The CDL-A Dedicated Driver operates a dedicated account based out of Houston, serving paper and packaging plants across the South. Drivers haul consistent freight for the same customer, with lanes covering Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, East Texas, East Oklahoma, and Missouri; occasional grocery deliveries may also be included. The role offers weekly home time for the driver's 34-hour restart. Freight is 99% no-touch, and approximately 75% of loads are drop and hook. New CDL holders receive 4 to 6 weeks of paid training at $650 per week. Once driving solo, pay is $0.63 per mile, with average weekly earnings of $1,200 to $1,400 based on approximately 1,900 miles per week. Loads under 100 miles pay an additional $40, and a $100 safety and performance bonus is available. Weekend work is expected; Christmas is off. Medical, dental, and vision coverage begins after 30 days. Other offerings include a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and $300 paid orientation with travel covered. Riders and pets are permitted after training is completed.
