About The Position

Coordinates the overall operations of an assigned dedicated account, including overseeing drivers and providing customer service, to ensure loads are delivered safely and timely.

Ability to solve problems and make decisions independently.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Bachelor's degree, or three to four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Assigns loads and routes drivers based upon available hours and customer needs.
Serves as the main point of contact for an assigned customer base and monitors customer-specific loads from tender through delivery.
Performs supervisory responsibilities as needed to manage drivers, including coaching, planning, assigning work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
Communicates customer issues and concerns with appropriate departments as needed.
Monitors trailer pools at assigned customer locations, coordinates trailer movements when necessary, and provides guidance when trailer detention issues arise.
Validates driver hours of service to safely and legally facilitate load deliveries.
Balances driver time-off requests with the operational need to move freight.
Establishes and maintains positive working relationships.
Receives and carries out instructions.
Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
