The Deburr Operator performs hand-contouring tasks on complex aviation engine hardware, including manually removing burrs created during machining. The role generates break edges, rounded edges, and chamfers on exotic metals such as titanium, stainless steel, Inconel, and Rene. The position involves active participation in team activities and requires obtaining CVP certification within six months and maintaining annual recertification. Training is provided. The work may involve restrictive positions for extended periods, repetitive movement, and typical machine-shop exposure to dirt, dust, noise, and metal particles. Designated PPE is required. Cranes and material-handling equipment are expected to be used, though lifting or carrying objects up to 50 pounds may be required. The role may involve hazardous operations or shifts beyond a standard workweek and requires the employee to be at least 18 by the time of joining. Access to U.S. export-controlled information requires proof of U.S. Person status as specified in the posting.
