About The Position

Key Auto Group is seeking a Dealership Parts Counter Associate for Key Ford of Exeter. The role supports the parts sales process and provides high-level service to internal and external customers. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment.
Strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Prior auto parts sales experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in the parts sales process from start to finish.
Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Converse effectively and efficiently regarding customer parts status.
Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and discussing specific parts.
Answer phone calls and provide price quotes and other information to customers.
Review body shop estimates to verify that the parts ordered are correct and pricing aligns with the estimate.
Provide high-level service to internal and external customers.
Pull and fill orders from stock and maintain weekly bin checks to ensure stock accuracy.
Notify the site manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials requiring immediate attention.
Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders when necessary.
Ensure all internal parts requests are billed on the service repair order.
Perform other duties as assigned.
