Powersports Dealership Manager

Hernley's Polaris & Indian Motorcycle / Best Line PowersportsElizabethtown, PA
Onsite

About The Position

We are currently seeking a Dealership Manager to join the growing team at Hernley's Polaris & Indian Motorcycle in Elizabethtown, PA. We carry Polaris and Indian, and we are investing in this location because we see a real path forward with the right operator at the wheel. The industry is soft right now, which is exactly why we are hiring someone serious. Soft markets reward disciplined dealerships, and we plan to be one. The Job: Run Hernley's in E-town. Own the P&L. Lead the team. GROW the business.

Requirements

  • Three plus years of dealership leadership experience with real P&L exposure
  • Demonstrated success leading across sales, service, and parts, not just one silo
  • Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills
  • Comfort with a modern DMS, ideally Lightspeed, and dealership financial reporting
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to work a minimum of 50 hours per week including Saturdays

Nice To Haves

  • Powersports background
  • Existing Polaris or Indian Motorcycle relationships
  • F&I or OEM finance program experience
  • A personal riding life

Responsibilities

  • Dealership P&L: Revenue, gross, expense control, inventory health, and operating margin. You set the plan with the General Manager, hit the numbers, and explain the variance clearly.
  • The team: Roughly six to eight people across sales, parts, service, and back office. You hire, develop, run a useful weekly cadence, and address performance issues early. Onboarding, performance management, and when necessary, separations all happen in line with company policy.
  • The customer experience: Showroom standards, test rides, follow up discipline, CSI scores, online reviews, and the energy of a Saturday morning showroom.
  • Sales and finance: With no dedicated F&I seat, you and the sales team present OEM financing cleanly and compliantly, and improve finance penetration quarter over quarter.
  • Inventory and OEM programs: Order well, age well, protect gross, and work the Polaris and Indian programs (co-op, spiffs, seasonal pushes) like they are yours.
  • Be a working manager, not a screen watcher. You step into sales, parts, and service when the team needs cover. Technicians own the wrenching; you keep everything else moving.
  • Daily operations: Opening, closing, and everything in between. You are present, on the floor, and visible to the team and customers.

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription
  • 401(k) with partial company match
  • Short- & Long-Term Disability
  • Basic and supplemental life insurance
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Employee Discount
  • Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays
  • Company provided uniforms
  • Boot and tool Reimbursement
