About The Position

Del Amo Motorsports, a leading Powersports dealership in Southern California for over 35 years, is seeking a highly motivated General Sales Manager for its new Victorville, CA location. The dealership is known for its exceptional customer service and comprehensive offerings. This management role involves overseeing the sales department's daily operations, driving sales goals, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Requirements

5 years or more of Sales Manager experience in a multi-line, powersports dealership is desired.
Minimum 7+ motorsports industry experience.
Comfortable managing multiple departments and employees.
Expert software skills including MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong background in business, mathematics, & marketing.
Creative problem solving skills with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
Highly organized with ability to multi-task across multiple projects; excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
Strong, excellent verbal & communication skills to deal with customers, employees, and vendors.
Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environment with multiple strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales department, including sales goals, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
Coach, mentor and lead a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales targets and provide ongoing training and development to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and promoting customer loyalty.
Maintain the profitability of their department while controlling expenses and retaining customer satisfaction.
Understand and keep abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations that affect their positions, and comply with these regulations.
