About The Position

We are currently seeking a Powersports Salesperson to join the growing team at Hernley's Polaris & Indian Motorcycle in Elizabethtown, PA. The Job: Sell Polaris and Indian. Build customer relationships that bring riders back for the next unit, for parts, for service, and for referrals. Be the face of Hernley's on the showroom floor, on the phone, and in the inbox. Our customers don't need to be sold; they need to be helped. Do that well and the rest takes care of itself.

Requirements

  • Two plus years of sales experience, with a real track record of hitting numbers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, with real negotiation skills.
  • Solid product knowledge of powersports, or the ability to learn it fast.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Existing powersports, motorcycle, or related dealership sales experience.
  • Familiarity with OEM financing programs.
  • CRM experience.
  • A personal riding life.

Responsibilities

  • The customer relationship. You build it, you keep it, and you bring them back for service, parts, accessories, and the next unit down the road.
  • Product fit. Match the right Polaris or Indian to the rider in front of you, and know the lineup well enough to pivot mid conversation when a customer's needs shift.
  • The sales process. Quotes, credit, terms, contracts, and state paperwork. Done right the first time, every time.
  • Follow up discipline. Leads do not go cold under your name. You work the CRM, keep your pipeline current, and call back when you said you would.
  • Cross department coordination. You partner with parts, service, and the back office so orders are processed accurately, units are prepped on time, and the customer's first experience after the sale is a good one.
  • Reporting. You give the dealership manager a clean read on your pipeline, your account status, and where the next sale is coming from.
