About The Position

As a Dealer Sales Manager, you’ll be part of our Independent Retail team working as a remote employee. You will grow, develop, and drive sales within a specific region or market. You will manage Dealer inventories to ensure appropriate category growth by market and to increase category penetration in underdeveloped markets. This role involves executing new dealer onboarding, including prospecting, completing paperwork, and training. You will also attend various meetings and shows such as National Sales Training, Dealer Convention, Test Drive Events, and Regional Meetings. Additionally, you will handle parts lookups, reorders, pricing issues, service resolutions, warranty claims, and non-traditional warranties.

Requirements

  • Be a field-based employee, requiring travel 50-60% of the time depending on the sales season and requirements of our customers.
  • Be comfortable and able to handle hauling a trailer with equipment over 50% of the time.
  • Be responsible for meeting DOT requirements where applicable.
  • 5+ years of successful performance selling into an Independent Retail Channel.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel computer skills).

Responsibilities

  • Execute New Dealers - Prospecting, Completing All Paperwork, On-Boarding of New Dealers, Training New Dealers.
  • Attend meetings and shows such as National Sales Training, Dealer Convention, Test Drive Events, Regional Meetings, etc.
  • Handle Parts Looks Up, Parts Reorders, Parts Pricing Issues.
  • Work with Dealers to Resolve Service Issues, Locate Service Bulletins, Handle Returns.
  • Follow up on Denied Warranty Claims, Work with Dealers on Non-Traditional Warranties.
