This is your opportunity to join a winning team! The Dealer Sales Rep (DSR) is responsible for building and managing business-to-business customer relationships. The DSR works closely with customers, factory reps, and internal team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • 5+ years of experience in the food service industry.
  • 5+ years in a sales capacity
  • Proven sales experience and ability to build a customer base.
  • Efficient in AutoQuotes and Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
  • Can travel to meet with customers.
  • Active/valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell food service equipment, walk-ins, exhaust hoods, custom fabrication, serving lines, millwork, and more.
  • Call on K-12 schools, local architects, interior designers, contractors, and end users (such as restaurants, churches, nursing homes, and community centers).
  • Share customer contacts with Singer T&L for marketing support.
  • Promote design services and secure design contracts. The DSR does not need to be a designer but is responsible for selling design contracts by using the company’s design team and resources.
  • Promote NexGen vendors, as well as ABC and Schedule B vendors.
  • Prepare bids using AutoQuotes (subscription provided) and submit them to customers.
  • Secure and execute customer purchase orders or contracts.
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales and profit goals.
  • Build relationships with local manufacturer reps and develop sales strategies around their product lines.
  • Review purchase orders for accuracy and ensure timely shipment (orders are processed by an assigned sales administrator).
  • Stay involved in large projects, even when a Project Manager is assigned. Review submittals, confirm correct equipment is ordered, ensure on-time delivery, and support smooth installation.
  • Attend demo days to build customer and rep relationships.
  • Work with the accounting team to ensure accurate invoicing and timely payment collection.
  • Travel regularly to customer sites and job sites, including overnight travel when needed.
  • Submit a weekly sales report summarizing the previous week’s activities and your plans for the upcoming week.
  • Attend quarterly sales meetings at the Fayetteville, NC headquarters.
