About The Position

Responsible for the accuracy and professional, proficient manner in dealing a specific table game according to the Company’s policies and procedures and in compliance with Gaming regulations. This role involves interacting effectively with the public and Team Members, performing excellent customer service, and protecting and controlling the game being dealt (Blackjack, Mini-Baccarat, or other table games). The Dealer conducts games in accordance with company policies, handles player transactions, and notifies the Floor Supervisor of any irregularities, disputes, or arguments. They also inform personnel of relevant facts regarding specific players, maintain a professional and friendly atmosphere, and promote departmental and property-wide promotions. Knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws and company internal controls, policies, and procedures is essential. The position requires consistent attendance and the ability to perform any reasonable request made by management.

Requirements

  • Proven knowledge, training and/or experience on the assigned game required.
  • Basic knowledge of all current house procedures required.
  • Appropriate Licensure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Team Members of organization.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Stand and walk.
  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members.
  • Perform excellent customer service at all time.
  • Responsible for the protection and control of the game being dealt, Blackjack, Mini-Baccarat, or other table games permitted in the jurisdiction.
  • Conducts the games in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, handling player transactions and notifying Floor Supervisor of any irregularities.
  • Advises Pit Manager or Floor person of any player disputes or arguments that may arise during the game.
  • Informs Floor Supervisor or other personnel of any important or relevant facts regarding specific players and their action.
  • Maintains a professional, friendly and courteous atmosphere providing the customer with a pleasant gaming experience, and notifying Floor Supervisor of any customer needs i.e., cocktails, Host Service, etc.
  • Promotes departmental and property wide promotions.
  • Knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, etc.) and attendant regulations as well as the Company’s internal controls, policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
  • Any reasonable request made by management.
