About The Position

The Dealer creates a welcoming, friendly atmosphere for guests while dealing table games. The role requires knowledge of the games dealt, appropriate game protection and pace, and quick, accurate payouts. Dealers also verify cheques when filling or crediting tables and when opening or closing tables. The position follows company and departmental policies, Nevada Gaming Regulations, and internal controls.

Requirements

• Pass a live audition on one or more table games.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Multi-task and solve problems.
• Demonstrate organizational and presentation skills, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Provide exceptional customer service with attention to producing quality results.
• Address team member questions and concerns in a caring, confidential, and helpful manner.
• Be flexible to work all shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends, as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Create a hospitable and friendly atmosphere for guests; greet guests by name when known and thank them for playing.
• Know all aspects of the games dealt.
• Comply with company and departmental policies and procedures, Nevada Gaming Regulations, and internal controls.
• Ensure appropriate game protection and game pace for all players.
• Make payouts quickly and accurately.
• Fill and credit tables by verifying cheques.
• Open and close tables by verifying all cheque inventory.
