About The Position

Shift Digital is seeking a Dealer Marketing Consultant to serve as a digital marketing expert resource for a client and its dealers. The consultant will help implement digital best practices through in-person consultations, training, data analysis, videos, and webinars. The role aims to improve dealer digital performance, provide strategic digital consulting and analytics reporting, and create a premium online customer experience for people shopping for vehicles.

This is an extensive-travel position covering Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, and adjacent states. The role is full-time with Shift Digital. The stated compensation estimate of $95,000–$105,000 applies only to residents of New York City, Colorado, Nevada, California, and Washington; compensation decisions may also account for factors such as skills, location, experience, licenses, certifications, and business needs.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of dealership sales strategy, marketing, and operations.
• Expert proficiency with dealership websites.
• Expert proficiency with search engine optimization (SEO).
• Expert proficiency with search engine marketing (SEM).
• Expert proficiency with social media and reputation management.
• Expert proficiency with CRM/DMS systems.
• Expert proficiency with Google AdWords and Google Analytics.
• Automotive experience.
• Professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Nice To Haves

• Previous automotive experience as a Marketing Manager, eCommerce Director, or Internet Manager, or prior experience as a digital resource in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Consult with the client and its dealers in person to implement digital marketing best practices.
• Provide training, data analysis, videos, and webinars to dealer stakeholders.
• Optimize dealers’ digital performance through strategic consulting and analytics reporting.
• Help establish a premium online customer experience for vehicle shoppers.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside the brand.
• Travel extensively throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, and adjacent states.
