About The Position

The Dealer Marketing Consultant serves as a digital marketing expert resource, working directly with a client and its dealers to implement industry-leading digital best practices. The work includes in-person consultations, training, data analysis, videos, and webinars to optimize dealer digital performance, provide strategic digital consulting and analytics reporting, and establish a premium online customer experience for vehicle shoppers. This is a full-time travel position requiring extensive travel throughout the Southeast, including Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The position is with Shift Digital.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of dealership sales strategy, marketing, and operations.
• Expert proficiency with dealership websites.
• Expert proficiency with search engine optimization (SEO).
• Expert proficiency with search engine marketing (SEM).
• Expert proficiency with social media and reputation management.
• Expert proficiency with CRM/DMS systems.
• Expert proficiency with Google AdWords and Google Analytics.
• Automotive experience.
• Professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively.

Nice To Haves

• Previous automotive experience as a Marketing Manager, eCommerce Director, or Internet Manager, or previous work as a digital resource in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Consult with the client and dealers in person on digital marketing best practices.
• Train dealers and provide digital marketing guidance.
• Analyze data and provide analytics reporting.
• Create videos and conduct webinars.
• Optimize dealers’ digital performance and provide strategic digital consulting.
• Help establish a premium online customer experience for vehicle shoppers.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside the brand.
• Travel extensively throughout the Southeast, including GA, FL, LA, AL, NC, and SC.
