About The Position

The DC Trainer trains warehouse staff primarily at the Menasha distribution center and at other distribution centers as needed. The role focuses on new-hire training, material-handling equipment (MHE) and attachment training, and ensuring employees meet company safety expectations and policies. When training is not needed, the Trainer supports regular warehouse worker duties. This is a safety-sensitive position at a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Train employees on required safety topics, including PPE, LOTO, fire prevention, and hazard communication.
• Provide 40 hours of classroom and hands-on MHE training for new employees.
• Provide process-related training on warehouse tasks.
• Document training records through the WOW Intranet and SharePoint.
• Assist the DCM with BBS observations and safety and training audits.
• Mentor and develop new employees, helping support their success.
• Provide additional MHE training after accidents as needed.
• Conduct annual MHE evaluations.
• Conduct three-year MHE recertifications.
• Support normal warehouse worker duties when training is not needed.
• Train staff at other distribution centers as needed.
