About The Position

The DC Trainer trains warehouse staff primarily at the Menasha Distribution Center and at other distribution centers as needed. The role focuses on new-hire training, material handling equipment (MHE) and attachments, and compliance with company safety expectations and policies. When training is not needed, the Trainer supports regular warehouse worker duties. This is a safety-sensitive position at a drug-free workplace. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Pay is listed as $24.00 per hour, consisting of a $22.00 base rate and a $2.00-per-hour shift premium. Performance incentive programs provide additional earning potential. Travel is negligible.

Responsibilities

Train employees on required safety topics, including PPE, LOTO, fire prevention, and hazard communication.
Provide 40 hours of classroom and hands-on MHE training for new employees.
Train employees on processes related to warehouse tasks.
Document training records through the WOW Intranet and SharePoint.
Assist the DCM with BBS observations and safety and training audits.
Mentor and develop new employees and support their success.
Provide additional MHE training following accidents as needed.
Conduct annual MHE evaluations.
Conduct three-year MHE recertifications.
Support regular warehouse worker duties when training is not needed.
