Requirements

Experience in training delivery.
Proficiency in Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) operation.
Knowledge of distribution processes (picking, packing, shipping, receiving, loading).
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Ability to develop and maintain training materials.
Certification to serve as a PIV trainer.
Partnership with Environmental Health & Safety.
Ability to establish and execute training plans.
Experience conducting audits of trainers and employees.
Ability to schedule and conduct refresher training.
Skills in tracking and reporting employee training progress.
Ability to maintain training areas.
Experience providing coaching and support to employees, Team Leads, and Supervisors.
Ability to monitor workload levels and operational priorities using WMS.
Experience creating, releasing, and managing work assignments and order waves.
Ability to establish and execute daily workload priorities.
Skills in coordinating work allocation to operational teams.
Ability to monitor work progress and adjust priorities.
Skills in identifying workflow bottlenecks and implementing solutions.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve WMS-related process issues.
Experience supporting supervisors and operational teams with workload visibility.

Responsibilities

Conduct training sessions for Distribution Center employees on Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) operation, distribution processes (picking, packing, shipping, receiving, loading), and Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes and office functions.
Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions to ensure consistent training delivery across all shifts.
Develop, update, and maintain training materials, documentation, and training software.
Maintain training processes for all PIV equipment and distribution center functions.
Maintain certifications required to serve as a PIV and train Train-the-Trainer.
Partner with Environmental Health & Safety to develop and maintain safe equipment training programs.
Establish and execute training plans for all Distribution Center employees.
Conduct audits of trainers and employees to ensure training effectiveness and compliance with established procedures.
Schedule and conduct refresher training as needed.
Track and report employee training progress and certification status to supervisors.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of training areas.
Provide ongoing coaching and support to employees, Team Leads, and Supervisors.
Utilize WMS to monitor workload levels and operational priorities throughout the Distribution Center.
Create, release, and manage work assignments and order waves based on established guidelines, customer requirements, ship dates, and operational priorities.
Establish and execute daily workload priorities to support customer service and productivity goals.
Coordinate the allocation of work to operational teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of assignments.
Monitor work progress throughout the shift and adjust priorities as needed to meet service levels and shipping deadlines.
Identify workflow bottlenecks and partner with operational leadership to implement solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve WMS-related process issues impacting workflow execution.
Support supervisors and operational teams by providing visibility into workload status and resource needs.
