About The Position

The DC Trainer - Process supports Distribution Center operations by training employees on work instructions and processes. The role provides hands-on instruction, helps conduct new-hire orientations and classroom onboarding, maintains training records, and assists with training materials. The trainer also supports distribution center work as needed, including flexibility to assist other shifts, and practices 5S and safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic math skills and basic computer skills in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to perform work according to instructions and within a reasonable time.
• Knowledge of distribution center functions, including picking, packing, receiving, and shipping product.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet the described physical and weightlifting demands, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.

Nice To Haves

• HighJump experience.
• Training or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend order information and work instructions.
• Provide direct, hands-on training and instruction on work instructions used in the distribution center.
• Maintain training logs.
• Conduct new-hire orientations.
• Practice 5S and safety.
• React effectively to change and handle other tasks as assigned.
• Assist with preparation of training materials.
• Assist with classroom onboarding and training.
• Perform additional training duties as assigned.
• Support other shifts if necessary.
