About The Position

The DC Associate performs operational activities within a distribution center warehouse to support efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders and receipt of replenishment products. The role includes safely handling and moving products, maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness, supporting inventory processes, and assisting the distribution center in meeting its business plan and customer-service goals. TBC Corporation welcomes newly experienced and seasoned warehouse associates and describes this as a full-time career opportunity.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds while bending and twisting, and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.
• Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of all required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners preferred.
• Prior distribution center experience preferred.
• Prior material handling equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate various material handling equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently.
• Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of products.
• Unload and put away products using radio frequency (RF) technology.
• Inspect inbound shipments for overages and shortages (OSD).
• Pick and stage products.
• Load trucks.
• Maintain organization of products in the warehouse.
• Assist the center in optimizing operations and customer service to achieve the business plan and distribution center profitability.
• Participate in cycle counts or physical inventory processes as required.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist with overall distribution center sanitation.
• Complete MHE reports as required by company policy and OSHA regulations.
• Perform other tasks as defined by the Supervisor or Center Manager, or as assigned or requested.
• Abide by all federal, state, and local laws.
