About The Position

The Daycare Teacher at The Sunshine House helps provide safety, education, and childcare while supporting children’s learning and development. The role involves creating a nurturing preschool environment and helping children build social, emotional, and educational foundations. The position is at 256 Wells Avenue, Greenwood, South Carolina. Starting pay is $15.00; candidates with advanced early childhood education and experience may qualify for higher pay within the range. Regular increases may be considered based on additional education, performance, and years of service.

Requirements

• Passion for working with young children.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds for child safety and emergencies.

Nice To Haves

• At least 30 days of experience working in a licensed center is preferred.
• Advanced education and experience in early childhood education may qualify candidates for higher pay.
