About The Position
As a Teacher at Tutor Time, you will provide daily care and learning experiences for children in a child care center. You will follow licensing guidelines and company standards, observe and assess children, plan activities, and communicate with families. You will complete training in child care, preschool, and child development, and implement the company’s proprietary curriculum through fun, interactive learning experiences. The role involves engaging in physical activity with children and working indoors or outdoors. The work week is Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have experience in a licensed child care center or a related field.
- Be able to meet state education requirements and center requirements.
- Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Responsibilities
- Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to provide daily care for each child in the classroom.
- Observe and assess children and plan for their development and learning.
- Communicate effectively with families.
- Complete training on child care, preschool, and child development topics.
- Implement the proprietary curriculum and create fun, interactive learning experiences.
- Engage in physical activity with children, indoors or outdoors.
