About The Position
Primrose School of Berkeley Heights and Primrose School of New Providence are seeking caring, dependable Teachers to support young children’s learning and development. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with morning, midday, and afternoon part-time shifts. The schedule is Monday through Friday. Applicants should include their availability, preferred location, and whether they are seeking full-time or part-time employment.
Requirements
- Experience working with young children is required.
- Enjoy working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
- Be reliable, patient, and a strong team player.
- Communicate well and help create a welcoming classroom.
Responsibilities
- Work with the classroom team to provide engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Supervise children and assist with daily routines, including meals, diapering or toileting, rest time, and transitions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Provide classroom coverage as needed, depending on the role.
- Follow school policies and health and safety procedures.
