About The Position

As a Lead Teacher at a child care center, you will inspire children to become lifelong learners by creating fun, interactive learning experiences and supporting their growth. You will mentor fellow teachers, lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and maintain expertise in licensing guidelines and company standards. You will also build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success. The role involves engaging with children indoors and outdoors and participating in physical activity with them.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create interactive learning experiences and educational lesson plans.
• Mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Know and follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
