About The Position

The Learning Experience of The Learning Experience #144 is hiring a Lead Teacher for its Two-Year Old classroom. The teacher leads the classroom and supports children’s growth and development by providing a safe, nurturing, engaging environment for learning and play. The role includes implementing the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in ways suited to each child’s needs, coaching and mentoring co-teachers, communicating with families about children’s activities and achievements, and partnering with center staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement. The position is offered by an independently owned and operated franchisee, which makes all hiring decisions.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and 12 ECE college credits required.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred.
Associate degree or higher in ECE or a related field preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
Communicate regularly with parents about children’s activities and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
Partner with center staff and leadership to support goals related to enrollment and engagement.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and create an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
