About The Position

The Learning Experience of The Learning Experience #144 is hiring a Lead Teacher for its Two Year Old classroom. The role focuses on supporting children’s growth and development by providing a high-quality daycare and preschool experience. The teacher leads the classroom, implements the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, and creates a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can play and learn. The teacher also communicates with families and partners with center staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and 12 ECE college credits required.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred.
Associate degree or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback.
Manage the classroom and lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Serve as a role model, use a growth mindset to develop young minds, and inspire a love of learning.
Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in a manner consistent with each child’s unique needs.
Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
Communicate regularly with parents about children’s experiences and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
Partner with center staff and leadership to support goals around enrollment and engagement.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and create an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
