About The Position

The Learning Experience of The Learning Experience #144 is hiring a Lead Teacher for its Two-Year Old classroom. The role leads and supports co-teachers while managing a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom. The teacher implements the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in ways that meet each child’s needs, fosters children’s development and love of learning, and communicates with families about children’s experiences and achievements. The teacher also partners with center staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and 12 ECE college credits required.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred.
Associate degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback.
Manage the classroom and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Serve as a role model, use a growth mindset, and inspire children’s love of learning.
Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in ways consistent with the unique needs of each child.
Create an environment where children can safely play and learn.
Communicate regularly with parents about children’s adventures and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
Partner with center staff and leadership to support goals around enrollment and engagement.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and create an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
