About The Position
Join HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center as a Lead Teacher. The centers focus on developing children from infancy to preschool through joyful, engaging early education and daycare. The Lead Twos Teacher creates age-appropriate learning experiences, maintains safe and organized classrooms, tracks children’s development, communicates with families, and collaborates with fellow teachers.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
- Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized classrooms where children can explore and learn.
- Monitor children’s growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
- Build relationships and communicate with families, sharing daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
