About The Position

Spring Education Group is a nationwide network of private schools focused on helping children thrive from their earliest years. Chesterbrook Academy Lancaster is seeking a full-time Twos Teacher to create engaging learning experiences for young children through exploration and play. The teacher will use the school’s curriculum and lesson-planning resources while contributing personal interests, talents, and creativity to the classroom. The role supports children’s confidence, independence, early academic skills, and relationships, while building strong connections with families and collaborating with colleagues and school leaders.

The position is based at Chesterbrook Academy in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, pays $18–$20 per hour, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to balance structure, creativity, and fun in a busy preschool classroom.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Meet applicable state licensing requirements.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a licensed childcare or early learning setting; preferred but not required.
• CDA or a degree in Early Childhood Education; preferred but not required.
• Experience with toddlers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on learning activities using stories, art, music, movement, and play.
• Help children build confidence, independence, early academic skills, and friendships.
• Use the school’s curriculum and lesson-planning resources while adding creative ideas.
• Build meaningful relationships with children and communicate with families about their child’s day, growth, and milestones.
• Partner with fellow teachers and school leaders to create a positive, supportive classroom.
