About The Position

The Day Program Supervisor provides support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities so they can live valued lives in the community. The role supervises staff and individuals in the Day Program setting and helps maintain a positive, supportive learning environment. The Supervisor also oversees billing and staffing accuracy, implementation and documentation of individual training and support programs, safety, and employee compliance with policies and procedures. The position pays $23.00 per hour and remains open until filled. Direct Support roles are mandated reporters of abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Employment is contingent on successful pre-employment background and drug screenings.

Requirements

• Successfully complete required pre-employment background and drug screenings.
• Valid driver's license with all necessary endorsements.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience working in the human service field.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and supervision to all staff and individuals in the Day Program setting.
• Create and maintain a positive, learning, supportive environment for employees and individuals.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in billing and staffing in relation to daily revenue.
• Ensure implementation and documentation of training, support, and behavior programs required by individuals' plans and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure the safety of employees and individuals by accounting for everyone on site, in the van, and during trip activities.
• Monitor and train employees to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide constructive feedback to employees through positive interactions, role modeling, and mentoring.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Report any instances of abuse, neglect, or exploitation that the employee is involved in or witnesses, as required of Direct Support roles.
