About The Position

LOT Commercial Property Services is hiring a part-time Day Porter for a commercial property in San Diego, California. The Day Porter keeps the property clean, presentable, welcoming, and ready for business. The position works Monday through Saturday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM and pays $17.75 per hour, with weekly pay.

The role involves regularly walking the property, cleaning indoor and outdoor areas, and reporting maintenance or repair needs to a supervisor. The employee must use required safety equipment and be able to perform active physical work throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Communicate in English or Spanish, both verbally and in writing.
• Regularly use a mobile device, such as a cell phone or tablet, for timekeeping and document review.
• Provide friendly customer service.
• Be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Work independently.
• Be physically active and comfortable being on your feet outdoors.
• Remain on your feet throughout the shift.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly walk stairs and large properties.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical endurance test relevant to the job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas.
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills.
• Remove debris such as stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti.
• Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to a supervisor.
• Use required safety equipment.
