About The Position

LOT Commercial Property Services is hiring a Day Porter to keep a retail or commercial property clean, welcoming, and ready for business. The role is based at 7305-7373 Clairemont Blvd., San Diego, CA 92111, with a Monday–Saturday schedule from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Pay is $17.75 per hour, paid weekly.

The Day Porter keeps the property presentable throughout the day, regularly walks the site to inspect cleanliness, and reports maintenance or repair needs to a supervisor. The work is physically active and takes place indoors and outdoors. Required safety equipment is provided.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication in English or Spanish.
• Familiarity with regularly using a mobile device, such as a cell phone or tablet, for timekeeping and document review.
• Friendly customer-service approach.
• Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Comfort with physically active work and being on your feet outdoors.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift; bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull; lift and carry up to 50 pounds; and regularly walk stairs and large properties.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical endurance test relevant to the job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas.
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills.
• Remove debris such as stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti.
• Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to a supervisor.
• Use required safety equipment.
