About The Position

Nakupuna Services is hiring multiple Database Sustainment Specialists (DSS) to support DMLSS-FM databases at Military Treatment Facilities throughout the continental United States. Each specialist works on-site at and supports a designated facility, participates in Facility Management Team meetings as needed, and may travel to remote locations supported by the respective DMLSS server. Telework is not authorized. New specialists receive initial comprehensive DMLSS classroom training and must complete applicable web-based and government-provided DCO training, including BUILDER. The role supports the management and quality of facility, room, and Facility System Inventory/real property installed equipment data; facility requirements and projects; drawings; regulatory compliance records; work requests and preventive maintenance where applicable; and other DMLSS-FM functions. Specialists coordinate with government facility management staff and other stakeholders, enter and maintain information based on government-provided information and approvals, and provide reports and training as requested. Certain operations and maintenance support functions are performed only when the O&M contractor does not provide them. The DSS does not manage specified DMLSS modules where those duties overlap with the task order’s contract requirements, unless directed by DHA. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain and maintain a favorable NACI (Tier 1) investigation and a Common Access Card (CAC), while complying with installation access and security requirements. The work takes place in a low-noise office environment within a healthcare facility and involves extended computer work, repetitive hand and finger movements, walking short distances, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
