About The Position

Celestar, a B&A Company, is seeking a Database Specialist to support the Army Research Technology Protection Center. The role supports CIDA case management, metrics, and reporting, as well as tracking the status of supported programs. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a comparable IT field, six years of operations support experience, strong communication skills, and working knowledge of Power BI and SharePoint. A TS/SCI security clearance is required. The target salary is $150,000. Travel may be required up to 10%.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a comparable degree in the Information Technology field.
Six years of experience in operations support.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
Working knowledge of Power BI and SharePoint.
TS/SCI security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Additional certifications in IT programs related to experience are preferred but not required.
Recommended certifications for the SQL database developer role include Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Data Platform or Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional.
Experience writing functions and procedures in MS Access and Visual Basic is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, maintain, and operate a database or spreadsheet supporting CIDA case management, metrics, and reporting, and provide a matrix of CIDA workload.
Develop, maintain, and update the customer tracking database and provide metrics on the status of supported programs, including program milestones, S&T PP status, PPP status, and the types and numbers of surveys or assessments conducted.
