About The Position

The CCD Coordinator/Data Operations Analyst facilitates and coordinates data quality activities related to federally required reporting and associated data collections and processes. The position collaborates on the design and modification of data collections based on federal requirements and ensures appropriate quality-assurance processes and standards are in place. This includes reviewing rules, laws, and data specifications related to federally required data submissions. Applicants must reside in Montana. A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field and four years of related experience are the minimum qualifications; other combinations of education and experience may be substituted. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field; other combinations of education and experience may be substituted.
Four years of related experience.
Knowledge of data collection, reporting, and quality-assurance practices, including data validation, documentation, and continuous quality improvement in education.
Knowledge of data systems and reporting tools, including relational databases, query-based reporting, and data extracts used for state and federal reporting.
Knowledge of data governance, confidentiality, and compliance requirements, including applicable statutes, regulations, and right-to-know principles related to education data.
Knowledge of analytical and problem-solving approaches for identifying data issues, assessing impacts, and supporting accurate reporting.
Skill in designing complex SQL queries.
Knowledge of data structures, relational database technology, database design, constraints, quality assurance, and errors.
Ability to use query-based tools and reporting systems to retrieve, review, and validate data.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple workstreams and deadlines while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and data quality.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines while maintaining focus on deliverables and data integrity.
Ability to interpret and apply laws, policies, and data rules.
Must reside in Montana.
